When shopping in a consignment or thrift store make sure you have an agenda. If you go with a plan in mind you will be less likely to overspend or experience "buyers remorse". If you are trying to find outfits for work, focus on purchasing some classic, base pieces that you can accessorize to change the look. Get pieces that you can mix and match with some less expensive pieces and accessories.  This will help extend your wardrobe for very little investment.
